the old marks sherry trifle was gorgeous, but this new version with no sherry, no flaked almonds, and no Cherries on top is no better than the bland slop they serve at other supermarkets. 2 years running, they cut the quality of the trifle. I am not buying it this year. I am making mary Berry's traditional sherry trifle
We had one last Christmas which was really good and left you wanting more. This is horrid and tastes cheap. It reminds me of a packet mix trifle and a tin of fruit cocktail. Its not what youd expect from M&S and a total rip off at £6
2nd year of purchasing this product and 2nd year of NO SHERRY IN A SHERRY TRIFLE. I put last years down to being a manufacturing mistake, this year's I call misrepresentation in the advertising.. There won't be a 3rd purchase!
Wheres the sherry?
Paid full price for two of these, couldnt taste the sherry at all, like a lot of M&S food products, wont be buying again.
Very disappointed 😞 Where was the sherry? This was the worst, most tasteless trifle I've ever had! Could have got a better one from the Value selection of a local supermarket for £1.50. This was way beneath the standard I would expect from M & S . It was sloppy and tasteless woth watery fruit pieces. What's worse I paid £6 only to find they had been reduced to £3 . I don't usually leave bad reviews but felt I had to on this occasion.
Love this sherry trifle
Real treat every year at Christmas. Good taste of sherry too
