For best before end, see front of pack.
Eat on day of defrost.
Do not refreeze after thawing.
Defrost - 3 hours - room temperature
Preparation and Usage
Allow to stand for 10 mins at room temperature.
Run a sharp knife around the inside of the tray to remove.
Place on serving plate and defrost at room temperature.
Serve immediately.
For best results consume within 1 hour of defrost.

Not great at all
very watery not much flavour and texture a bit sloppy

poor form on this one M&S
Having had lots of the M&S frozen desserts before I had high hopes for this. Instructions were confusing - said ready from frozen but also said to take out 3h before eating. I went with the latter and returned to a sloppy mess.
Surprisingly good
I got this as a backup desert option for some egg-free guests at a dinner party, and when my main desert wasn’t delivered from Ocado this was actually the star of the show surprisingly. We still had a selection of deserts that evening, but all my guests seemed to favour this one, so was surprised by the negative reviews...
First time great, second time bad
I remember buying this locally many years ago and it was delicious although I don't remember needing to consume it within 1 day of defrosting. Anyway, I bought it via Ocado and the first time it was great. Second time I don't know if it was a bad batch or something but it appears I had some food poisoning and the cream on this may have been starting to go off but not enough for me to smell or taste that aspect. I'm on the fence about buying it again and may make my own in future. If it was cut into smaller portions I could defrost it as and when I want a slice.
Surprisingly poor
The base didn't hold together, as I lifted it it literally fell into a crumbled dry mess. There was very little banana in it and to be honest I am so glad I didn't order this to serve to any guests !
