Cooking guidelines
Hob - From Frozen. For a roasted gravy to serve 2:
Sauté 1 medium onion with 10g of butter in a saucepan for 5 mins on a high heat. Add 4 broth portions and 300ml water to pan and simmer on a medium heat for 7 mins. Season to taste with salt and pepper, thicken as desired with flour and butter and simmer for a further 5 mins.
For a rich finishing jus:
Add 2 broth portions to 125ml wine in a saucepan. Season to taste with salt and pepper and simmer on a medium heat for 8 mins.
For 2 litres stock for casseroles, broths and soups:
Empty contents of bag (approx. 10 portions) into a saucepan, add 1.8 litres water and simmer on a high heat for 5 mins and then use in desired dish.
Do not reheat.
