Preparation and Usage
Serving
For best results carve using a serrated carving knife
1. Secure a large chopping board by placing on top of a damp cloth.
2. Using the greaseproof paper lift the wellington onto the chopping board. Ensure the round pierced holes in the pastry are facing upwards.
3. Remove the greaseproof paper by sliding out from underneath.
4. Carefully pierce with a large fork to secure meat and pastry.
5. Using a sawing motion with a serrated knife cut evenly in the middle. Use the pierced holes in the pastry as a cutting guide when slicing each portion.
6. Divide the ends of the pastry among the plates.
7. Only carve as many slices as required to preserve the succulence and tenderness of the wellington.
Serve immediately.

Cook on high (100%). Empty the sachet contents into a microwavable container. Stir halfway through heating time. After cooking, stir and allow to stand for 2 mins before serving.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Electric 220°C, Fan 200°C, Gas 7
Medium 30 mins
Well done 35 mins
Preheat oven and baking tray. Remove wellington from outer packaging using greaseproof paper provided. Brush well with beaten egg or milk. Pierce top several times with holes using a fork. Place wellington on preheated baking tray using greaseproof paper. Place on top shelf of oven. Remove from oven and rest for 10 mins before carving.
