Product information
Sliced red cabbage braised with Bramley apples, onions and redcurrant jelly. Place in the oven to cook or for best results, heat in the microwave for six minutes. Serves 6.

Instructions
For best results Microwave.
Do not reheat.; Microwave - From Chilled. 750W 6 mins, 30 secs
900W 6 mins
Cook on high (100%).
Allow to stand for 1 min. Remove film.
Stir thoroughly. Guide for one pack only.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Electric 190°C, Fan 170°C, Gas 5, 30 mins
Preheat oven. Place on baking tray.
Remove the film using a sharp knife around the rim.

Awful mush
I wasn't able to get this on the Ocado site so bought it at M&S - I wish I hadn't bothered. It was soggy to the point of mush, even though cooked as instructed. And it was so sweet that, had I been wearing a blindfold, I don't think that I could have guessed it was cabbage. I've had red cabbage from M&S before and though I don't remember which one it was, I do remember that the cabbage retained some structure and that it had just a touch of sweetness. This version must have had a huge amount of sugan in it to sweeten a Bramley cooking apple to this extent.
Too sweet and overcooked
No much substance as just a sweet pulpy mass. half the sugar content would allow apple to taste.

Just red mush, a little better than the baby food carrot and swede mash so gave it 2 stars
Festive Side Dish
Seved with Xmas day lunch. It went very well as part of 'all the trimmings' and was tasty and not too sweet.
Really unpleasant
Just a red mush. I could not taste anything vaguely like cabbage or apple. Will not buy again.
Nice
I'm not a fan of red cabbage but my husband is, but I tried this and enjoyed it, has a lovely sweet flavour and I will purchase again next Christmas.
