Dreadful
I bought this for the first time to save making my own. It was dreadful. A sludgy colour and it tasted like caramel. It must have missed the brandy altogether. I shall never buy shop stuff again, but will continue to make my own.
Not good
had a very odd colour and tasted rancid. Disappointing as had to throw away.
Tastes great
Great flavour, fresh butter and a generous amount of brandy. Prefer this to the other M&S offering, that is made with calvados. Good value.
not as good as Waitrose
Used to get the Waitrose one and it was moreish. This sadly isnt and as previous reviewer said, theres no lid for storing it once opened. Wont buy again which is annoying as theres no alternative on Ocado.
Where's the lid?
Brandy butter OK, but the picture shows a lid. There isn't one, just a peel back paper thing that doesn't go back on.
