Tricky
Nice cheese but the slices stick together and its almost impossible to get a full slice in tact.
Slices stick together and break into small pieces
Im a huge fan of all things M&S but these cant be used as whole slices because they stick together and therefore crumble apart as you try to get a slice from the packet. I have switched to Cathedral City slices as they have paper squares between each slice, so you can successfully remove a whole slice.
Too crumbly
I didnt enjoy it as was very dry and crumbly. Ive recently bought the block too and that was the same. Need to find a new cheese now as this isnt for me anymore.
Mouldy before expiry date
We had this in the fridge whilst we polished off the rest of the cheese we had open. When we got to opening this packet, it was already mouldy (blue fluffy mould) a week before the expiry date. The little bit without mould that we tasted was bland and so we wouldn't purchase again or recommend.
Bland cheese
Looking for a medium cheddar as most cheese on sale are mild or mature and hoped this would be a good alternative to the grated medium cheddar sold on Ocado. No real flavour and the texture was smooth and rubbery that it ruined our sandwiches and had to remove it from the filling.
mouldy
Bought this a couple of weeks ago, put it straight into 'the fridge. Went to make a sandwich today and could see white mold on the top slice. Opened the packet and the edge of every slice was mold. Use by date was 5th August 2023, bought it 2 weekst ago. Can't recommend this product and won't buy it again.
