Cooking guidelines
Oven cook - From Defrost. Handling Raw Meat Safely: this product contains raw meat and must be cooked according to the cooking instructions.
Needs cooking
Electric 180°C, Fan 160°C, Gas 4, 1 hour 50 mins
- Defrost thoroughly before cooking. Place joint on tray and defrost in fridge for 34 hours. Check that there are no ice crystals within the joint before cooking.
Remove from fridge 1 hour prior to cooking.
- Preheat oven.
- Remove sleeve and film.
- Place foil tray on baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven. Baste occasionally.
- Check that product is piping hot throughout and the juices run clear. Once cooked, remove from the oven and cover with foil.
- Leave to rest for 20 mins before serving.
Remove poultry bands before carving.
Do not reheat.
