Our thick cut sirloin steak is a prime example of British beef at its best. Sourced from M&S Select Farms we know and trust, this robust steak is cut thicker to enhance its natural succulence.

Thick-cut, Scottish beef sirloin steak, matured for 21 days for succulence. Lightly oil, season for flavour, pan-fry and finish in the oven.

For Use By, see front of pack. Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. Once opened use immediately.
Suitable for freezing. Freeze by date mark shown and use within one month.
Once defrosted (in a refrigerator) use immediately. Defrost thoroughly before use.

There may be a slight aroma on opening, which will not affect the quality or flavour of this product.

Cooking Instructions - General. Ready to cook.
Do not reheat.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Remove from packaging 10 min before cooking and pat dry with kitchen paper. Preheat dry pan to High. Lightly oil, season and place into pan for 2 min each side.
Transfer to roasting tray and place into preheated oven.
10-12 min, medium 14-16 min, well done 16-18 min
200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6; Shallow Fry - From Chilled. Remove from packaging 10 min before cooking and pat dry with kitchen paper. Preheat dry pan to High. Lightly oil, season and place into pan for 2 min each side. Reduce heat to Low and cook for a further.
8-10 min, medium 10-12 min, well done 12-14 min
Turn halfway through cooking. Rest for 5 min before serving.

Wash and dry hands thoroughly before and after handling raw meat, and after disposing of packaging. Use separate chopping boards/utensils for raw meat. Always cover meat and store at bottom of fridge.
