This Calvados XO is a Normandy apple brandy aged for six years in French oak barrels that give it a smooth, rounded character. It's then put through a single distillation process in copper stills to develop notes of baked apples, pears and gentle spice, with a warm, lingering finish. The extended ageing adds a mellow oak richness and a silky texture that makes it easy to sip. Enjoy it neat, over ice or lengthened with a splash of sparkling water to lift the fruit. It also works well in cocktails, imparting a ripe orchard flavour.
