Instructions
Bring pan of water to boil, empty pack contents into pan, cover and simmer. Drain and serve.; Cooking Instructions - General. Needs cooking. For best results steam.
Remove all packaging.
Do not reheat.; Steam - From Chilled. 5-6 mins
Empty contents into a steamer or colander and steam.; Stir Fry - From Chilled. 6 mins
Heat 10ml of oil in a frying pan, fry for 3 mins then add 2 tablespoons of water and continue to fry for 3 mins until the kale is tender and serve.

Woody stalks left in.
I had ordered the whole leaves but was substituted this. The leaves may be washed but they're certainly not ready to cook! I strip the leaves off their stalks and slice finely to cook with a nice sliced sweetheart cabbage and it takes no time at all to do this. However, this 'ready to cook' version was far from 'ready'. It took longer to pick through the (small) pack of cut leaves to remove the inedible woody stems than preparing from scratch. So the 'convenience' is totally lost on me. And because it has been prepared, the shelf life is shorter than it would have been. I would not buy this out of choice.
Not as good as it was
When I discovered this on here, I absolutely loved it for the first few times, but over the past few weeks it's contained so much stalk with the cavalo nero clinging on to it. The stalks are tough too. I'm giving this a rest for a while in the hope that it may improve. Very disappointing.
Not really a time saver
Chose this thinking that it would be ready to cook with no further prep needed.. It was full of stalks which needed to be cut out & discarded. The fresh whole leaf product is easier to prepare & there is a loads more in the bag.
Fresh and nicely chopped
I received this as a sub for my usual, but this is great for someone cooking in a rush that wants something washed, prepped and ready to throw into a smoothie or soup. Quality and taste was good. Handy time saver.

I add to the top of my chicken soup. Tom Kerridge has a delicious chicken soup recipe. This is so good! Highly recommend
Delicious & Versatile
I buy this regularly & its always outstanding quality. My recent packet was delivered 1/1/24 & had a use by day of 6/1/24 & was still fresh when I cooked with it on its use by date. Delicious added to stir-frys but my favourite thing to do either is bake in a hot oven (180C fan) for 3 minutes drizzled in sesame oil, sprinkled with furikake and seasoning. YUM!
