Preparation and Usage
Chicken Casserole with Honey & Mustard
Serves 4
PREP TIME 10 minutes
COOK TIME 30 minutes
YOU WILL NEED
300g mushrooms, sliced
1 red onion, sliced
4 skinless chicken breasts, cut into 3cm chunks
150ml double cream
COOKING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan on a low to medium heat. Soften the onions for 5 minutes.
2. Turn up the heat, add the mushrooms and chicken and cook for 5 minutes to brown the chicken and mushrooms.
3. Add seasoning paste, stir and cook for a further minute.
4. Add the double cream, stir and cover with a lid.
5. Allow to simmer for 20 minutes until chicken is thoroughly cooked through. Delicious served with mashed potatoes, pasta or rice.
Why not try…
Replacing the chicken with sausages.
