Place contents in a saucepan. Heat gently, stirring occasionally until hot. Do not boil.; Microwave - From Ambient. 750W 3 mins, 30 secs
900W 2 mins, 30 secs
Cook on high (100%). Place contents in a microwaveable container and cover with a vented lid. Stir halfway through.

Soup with Sugar?
Why has the recipe changed? Who needs caramelised sugar added to soup, the vegetables were lovely on their own. Please M&S revisit the recipe and remove the sugar!
Too much pepper
This is the first time purchased but unfortunately far too much pepper. There was plenty of chunky vegetables in it but you can’t taste anything else but the pepper. I’ll think twice before I try any of the other range of soups on offer.
Nice soup but why so much sugar!
I have enjoyed the soup but was disappointed by the sugar content!
Chunky vegetables
My first purchase. The soup contained large chunks of vegetables which were tasty and plentiful. The only problem for me was the soup was a little too peppery for my taste. This is my problem as I dislike seasoning. I would recommend this product.
New recipe M and S Chunky Vegetable Soup is awful
I am very disappointed at the "new recipe" M and S Chunky Vegetable Soup. It is watery and even tastes sweet-no doubt due to the added caramelised sugar. I really can't understand why M and S changed their tinned vegetable soup recipe-the old recipe is far far better-it is better in taste and frankly better in quality-without the completely unnecessarily added ingredients of the new soup. I will definitely not be buying this again
Comforting, delicious and homely
This is one of my favourite soups now. Its so full of vegetables, with a chunk in every single bite. The carrots are full of flavour, the potatoes are plentiful and the whole soup feels like a warm hug. 10/10 for this one
