So good

I can't fault this - even the cork was in perfect nick. Very good value indeed. Super colour ,and mouthfeel, I can't think of a wine more suited to just about every guest - and you could just 'have it there' for any kind of food. With cheese, meat or fish, it even works with smoked fish - normally the killer test! Personally, if no-one is looking, a macaroni cheese with tough bread, lardons and a tomato salade are a cracking mix!

perfect weeknight French Chardonnay

With a depth of peary caramel flavour thats just perfect for early summer this lives up to the classics name. Medium acidity, long, well structured, delicious for the price.

Good value white burgundy

At £9 a bottle this is pretty good value. It does what it says on the tin, and is a good substitute for the Waitrose 'blue label' white burgundy. Give the price of Maconnais wine at present, I'm happy to drink this as an everyday glass, and save the £14-15 Louis Jadots etc for a treat.

Very nice! Easy drinking.

We usually order Francois Martenot Bourgogne, but it wasnt available, so we tried this one. This would be a good alternative.
