very nice
I dont usually like white wine, but this one is lovely. It is quite sweet but thats why I like it, its very nice with fish and pasta.
Too sweet
Not at all as expected. Sweet and apricotty. Reminiscent of an 80s Liebfraumilch. But not entirely undrinkable hence 3*.
Peach flavoured perfume
We had ordered this previously and liked it. We ordered it again on 5/8/23 and it was truly terrible, but not corked, perhaps a different batch? It was a bottle of perfumed water, like Peach Shloer from the 1980s. Undrinkable, and impossible to cook with either.
Demi\-Sec
This is ‘demi-sec’ (medium dry), and that’s what you get. Perfect as an aperatif and with lighter dishes, and it’s good value. If you prefer a dry Vouvray, buy ‘sec’.
medium and delicious
At the sweeter end of vouvrays but delicious. Far too easy to drink... And at this price why not get 2..just in case..
off dry
This is more off-dry than dry. Lovely on its own and would go well with spicy food. Or with cheese, pâté, charcuterie
