Instructions

Cooking Instructions - General. Remove all packaging.
Do not reheat.
Thickness of fish may vary. Thicker pieces will take longer to cook.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Electric 190°C, Fan 170°C, Gas 5, 20 mins
Line a baking tray with foil. Place fish on foil and season with salt and pepper.; Poach - From Chilled. 6 mins
Pre-heat enough water/milk to cover fish in a saucepan. Once simmering add fish. Remove from liquid with a slotted spoon.; Shallow Fry - From Chilled. 11 mins
Season with salt and pepper. Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Turn once during cooking.

Suitable for Freezing. For Use By, see front of pack. Keep refrigerated 0°C to +5°C. This product has been frozen and returned to chill temperature. Further freezing will not affect quality. Freeze by date mark shown and use within 3 months. Once defrosted (in a refrigerator) eat within 24 hours. Defrost thoroughly before use.

Lovely

2 good sized pieces of fish, I just oven baked with pepper & butter, served with asparagus, delicious light meal. Would purchase again & again. Nice flavour, no skin, no bones.

delicious

Really great smoked flavour .,no bones .Used to make fish cakes I baked for a few mins in the oven before combining with potato ,chilli flakes,parsley,coriander ,spring onion .Despite the fairly punchy flavours I used the fish remained the hero of the fish cake with its gorgeous smoky flavour .Despite smelling fishy when I opened the packet it certainly didnt taste fishy Bought on a flash sale but would buy full price .

Tastes great but…….😷

Lovely piece of chunky cod which I Oven cooked and kept covered to hopefully reduce any smell, I’d hesitate buying again as I’m afraid the smell lingered for days. I’d give 5 stars for quality and taste but I’ve deducted 1 star because of the lingering smell. It’s a shame because I really enjoyed it. 🫤

Excellent chunky cod

I was offered these on a Flash Sale price and am really glad I tried them. Great deep chunky fillets, light smoke flavour and cooked brilliantly. I used them to make a tray bake with small new potatoes, mediterranean vegetables and the fish. Drizzled with lemon zest, juice and olive oil at the end. They'd be just as good poached with an egg over, or fried. At the offer price I'd buy them every week, but the weight was a little small for us so they work out rather expensive if you need 2 packs. Exceptionally good if you only need a small amount or they're on offer.
