Bit worried after the last review but we really enjoyed this. Ate two (with all the sauce) and froze two. The pastry was crisp and light and the filling very good - the mushrooms added a real layer of richness and the sauce was great (though we did add a bit more red wine) - wish you could buy it separately. The beef was tasty - no lumps, no gristle just great beef in sauce. It is not beef Wellington - it is pulled beef en croute- and we would have it again.
They had so much promise but didnt deliver. The pastry was crisp and ok, but the filling resembled dog food and had a strange flavour with tough lumps of meat.
Frankly any meat product that is use by the next day should be on flash sale. Cheeky charging full price.
