Oven cook - From Chilled. Handling raw poultry safely: this product contains raw poultry.
Do not wash. Must be cooked according to the cooking instructions.
Electric 190°C, Fan 170°C, Gas 5, 1 hour 15 mins
Needs cooking.
- Preheat oven.
- Remove film, leaving the guinea fowl in the tray provided.
- Brush the skin with oil or melted butter and season with salt and black pepper as desired.
- Place foil tray on a baking tray in the centre of the oven.
- Roast in the oven for 1 hour and 15 mins, basting occasionally throughout cooking.
- Allow to rest for 20 mins before carving.
- Always check that the product is cooked throughout and juices run clear with no pink colour remaining.
- Check food is piping hot throughout before serving.
