A mixture of lemon, chocolate and plain soft amaretti. A real treat.

I wish the description was clearer!

I wish the description was clearer, as I wanted just almond flavour amaretti biscuits for the bottom layer of my trifle. These are in fact a mixture of lemon, chocolate, and almond. All the other amaretti biscuits were sold out. They taste very nice though and are lovely and moist while retaining their shape. I used just the almond ones in my trifle (which I had to bump out with lady finger biscuits) and it added a really lovely flavour.

I liked these

ok so they are not like traditional amaretti and are heavier and denser but I actually really liked them. If you are an amaretti snob then they probably aren't for you but they are really nice as a mid morning treat with a coffee or tea. Personally found them satisfying.

Funny, Amaretti doesn't traditionally contain WHEAT or GLUTEN, yet M&S can't make this gluten free? Thanks for nothing.....

I quite liked the denseness of these little biscuits, three flavours which I could detect, lemon, almond and chocolate, bit pricey and not like any other amaretti biscuit I have tried, but would but again as a treat for myself.
