Good
We have this occasionally and it's consistently good. Quite a mild smoke and nice meaty texture. No probs separating the slices, and the presentation saves on plastic.
Not recommended
Had this before, but last pack failed to please as follows - tough bits, stringy fatty bits, not very nice dark colour. Threw most away, wont be buying again. The range of things I can eat from Ocado/M&S to go with salad is growing smaller with every delivery!
Tasty
Really good alternative to smoked salmon
Tasty smoked trout…
Subtle, and delicious, with the right firmness meeting softness you’d hope for. A squeeze of lemon really brought out the flavour. I do miss the days of interleaving, but a little tip I often use to separate slices nowadays is to scoop it all up and flip it upside down. You can then see the pieces more clearly and separate them.
terrible presentation
tastes fine, but if you try to separate (I pride myself on being pretty good at this) you end up with something like tartare. do not buy for a party where you are trying to impress. Big Fish is easier.
tasty
I am so happy I bought this! Very tasty and not too salty. Great with poached eggs.
