amazing cheese but
Make sure you cut around the wax not into and the top wax layer came off very easily

bought this as part of a Christmas gift as the jar is beautiful! And another for myself for a Christmas cheese night, absolutely delicious!

Fantastic cheese ruined by ludicrous packaging
This is great cheese - a rich mature cheddar perfectly blended with truffle and honey. If it were packed more sensibly (and therefore cheaply) it could be a 5 star product. But theyve stuck it in a great big ceramic dish which cant really be used for anything else and then covered it in a hard to remove wax layer (and then wrapped the whole thing in plastic). Just put it in a sensible resealable pack next time please and dont charge the earth for it.
