The best
I saw recently in an independent test that this was amazing so I tried it . It is a fantastic flavour, a little crumbly but not not bad .. this is as good as it gets for cheddar
Lovely on it's own
Who needs crusty bread and pickle with this cheddar! Gorgeous!
I LOVE Cheddar
I adore Cheddar and want a quality, strong & slightly puckering product but I don't see why I should have to take out a 2nd Mortgage to get that taste & feeling week after week. This is a nice strong Cheddar, great on the palate as well as in the melt. I'd give it a 4.5 to 5 on the scale and not the 6 but everyone has an opinion on Cheddar don't they. Delicious. Love it
Nice taste but...
Have had better tasting cheddars and very crumbly so need to cut a brick sized piece for it to hold together and not be 1000 little pieces you have to pick up one by one and sprinkle on a biscuit/toast.
Creamy, cheesy goodness
I love the creamy texture of Davidstow cheddar and often make cheese on toast with it. I made a macaroni cheese this week and used half and half Davidsow and Red Leicester cheese and it was so delicious
