Instructions
Guide for one pack only.
Do not reheat.; Microwave - From Chilled. Sauce and rice only
Remove chicken and cook as oven instructions.
750W, 3 mins
900W, 2 mins, 30 secs
Cook on high (100%). Pierce film on both sauce and rice.
Place sauce and rice in microwave. Stir rice and sauce after cooking.; Oven cook - From Chilled. Chicken only
Electric 190°C, Fan 170°C, Gas 5, 20 mins
Preheat oven. Remove chicken from packaging and place on a preheated baking tray. After 10 mins turn chicken and cook for a further 10 mins.

nice chicken but sauce a bit odd
The rice was also perfect. Tweak the sauce and it would be five stars
New recipe
I buy this every week for my husband, as it's one of his favourite quick lunches, but this week we received the new recipe version and he did not like it and said it actually made him feel really sick. So it's gone from a weekly purchase to never buying again I'm afraid.
Very odd & unpleasant flavour
The breaded chicken was fine, but the sauce tasted more like a bad Chinese takeaway, overwhelmingly of ginger, soy and sugar. Obviously one doesn't expect much from a supermarket Katsu curry in the UK but, even if your reference point is Wagamamas, you will be thoroughly disappointed.
I really liked this
I got this then read the reviews and thought oh no, shall I eat it. But I did, and tbh I quite liked it. Although my taste is not refined. Id defo order it again. It had enough sauce for me, the chicken was lovely, and rice is rice, it was nice.
Poor value
As per ingredient list: if the chicken is 18% and the rice is 18% of total ingredients and there is hardly any sauce ~ then what compromises the rest of the ingredients? The air in the container? 😂 Moreover the chicken was awful ~ maybe because it had been kept alive in bad travel conditions. Poor thing
Weird Sauce
I honestly think with the sauce being so strangely flavoured, that if you changed it, it would honestly be so perfect.
