This is very tasty pie with delicious pastry, good amount of tasty meat in gravy.

Handy

Handy meal but could be better with more meat & gravy. Pastry was nice but a little too much of it but that said this is much better than the Pukka beef pie.

Bit sad..

I was hoping that a pie from Marks and Spencer is not just any pie. Sadly it was. It was a pastry pie rather than a steak pie. I hoped that trading up brand would mean that lots of lovely steak would replace the usual fresh air and gravy found in lesser shops. Pastry was tasty but you are better than that M & S.

Could be good

Oh dear, looked fine but filling lacked flavour and meat decidely chewy. We had greatly enjoyed the slow cooked peppered beef and hoped this would be similar.OK Add some onion and slow cooked beef. Meat could be reduced to pay for this. Other root vegetables would also help. Oxo cube or spoonful of marmite/bovril would boost meat flavour. Unless reformulate will not buy again.

best steak pie

This must be 1 of the best steak pies out there was no fat or gristle just nice lean steak in a nice velvet gravy We really enjoyed this 15 mins at 190c in a ninja on steam bake came out perfect with minted peas and new baby potatoes will def order again Shame M&S dont make a family steam steak kidney pudding
