Delicious little bites

These are full of chocolate flavour, nice and smooth and not at all dry. Perfect with a coffee or hot chocolate.

Enjoyable

These are tasty however they are just the regular extremely chocolatey mini roles with a dusting of icing sugar and a red tub! Still moreish though!

Sweet mini swiss rolls

I mistakenly thought the words 'Yule Log Bites' in the name might suggest something Christmassy. So what you get is eleven chocolate sponge mini swiss rolls, each covered in thick chocolate and icing sugar. The sponge used in the swiss rolls is hard, dense and dry with just a tiny amount of chocolate filling. The chocolate coating is thick and has an oversweet flavour, lacking any real chocolately depth. The addition of icing sugar just makes it all very sickly. Not one for us I'm afraid, maybe if they dusted them with cinnamon and made the sponge lighter they'd have a proper 'yule' treat. Will stick with M&S's fresh chocolate swiss roll if we want a treat over Christmas.

So Chocolatey

I'm not sure that chocolatey is even a word but it describes these perfectly. They are hard on the outside with a lovely moist filling. I really did try to stop at one but my willpower wasn't good enough !

So good!

Individual and coated in hard chocolate so they stayed moist longer. Sad they only come out for Christmas but will definitely buy again next year.
