Good
I have read negative reviews, including that it is ground too finely, but I think it is good. It is ground no differently to other espressos, is a lot cheaper and tastes just as good.
Good value for money
I use it in a cafetiere. It has a bold taste which I like in my coffee. I think it's just as good if not better than the branded espressos.
Blocks espresso machine \- danger of burning
I appreciate some seem to like this but for me it blocks my espresso machine. Beware taking the grounds out - hot steaming water may be pressurised behind the grounds, and spray out, so leave grounds in until your machine has cooled down if you are trying this for the first time. I won't be buying again until I can see they have improved the grind.
Unusable in my Delonghi machine
Too finely ground for my espresso machine. Will try it with a filter paper but wont buy again.
Delicious, flavoursome coffee
I love this coffee. My husband bought me an espresso machine a few years ago and I have tried many different makes of coffee. Often they are packaged as espresso ground, but the coffee isn't fine enough and the water passes through too quickly. However, this M&S espresso (strength 5) coffee is perfectly ground. The flavour is rich without being bitter. It is how I start my day everyday.
too finely ground
As a previous reviewer said, the coffee is too finely ground. My coffee machine is struggling to pump the water through the coffee. It slowly drips and coffee comes out lukewarm. I will go back to Lavazza red.
