At M&S, we have proudly sourced Fairtrade tea since 2006. This means that our producers receive a fairer price for their crop and an additional Fairtrade Premium, paid directly to growers to spend on projects of their choice.

We have longstanding relationships with tea growers in Assam, and we will continue to pay above the minimum price set by Fairtrade, and an additional premium directly to growers to invest in their communities.

At M&S, we’re proud to source 100% Fairtrade tea and coffee, and have been doing so since 2006. This means that producers earn a fairer price for their crop and an additional Fairtrade Premium, invested by farmers and workers in projects of their choice.

All tea in this pack has been vacuum packed in origin, which stops it becoming dry, stale or bitter and preserves the naturally sweet flavour. The tea is then packaged in a protective atmosphere and foil packed for freshness.

Preparation
How to make the perfect cup of tea:
Use freshly drawn water, as reboiled water dulls flavour and colour. Use one teaspoon per person, plus one extra for the pot. Bring the water to the boil, then add to the tea straight away. Brew for 3-5 mins, remove the tea, then add milk if desired.
