Not the best
I was looking forward to trying these beans. Not a patch on my Brazilian roastworks beans. This was not a lovely smooth coffee. The bag was full of air and the beans were oily. Very very dark - burnt taste. Have removed from further orders.
Decent cup of coffee
The flavour was not as strong as I expected it to be for a 5. I drink coffee black and like a strong blend, as I only drink coffee in the morning. Overall, a decent smooth coffee though.
Full bodied but not bitter
Bought these as a replacement for M &S Sumatra beans which we can’t find and these are a more than worthy substitute. Mixed with expresso beans they hit the spot at breakfast
Love these \- our favourite beans!
We use these in a bean-to-cup machine and for the price, the best you can get, in our opinion. We rate these over all the Waitrose equivalents.
Excellent coffee beans
Love this coffee, lots of flavour like all M&S coffees
Bland bland bland
I was hoping that M&S would have got their beans from the same suppliers as waitrose. Apparently not (or if they do, they get the old rejects). This was just bland. It still made coffee and it didn't taste disgusting, but compared with the Waitrose equivalent it was just brown water. You'd probably be better off with instant. I'm steering clear of M&S-branded coffee now and returning to either waitrose or Union
