Good but maybe not quite justifying the price

White Burgundy is of course a go-to and this is a good one. Oaked but not too heavy. It is a little peachy, as described on the bottle with an appropriate dryness that is not exactly crisp. Vegan friendly - went well with mushroom pizza.

Great, well priced Burgundy

Really enjoyed this, (relatively) affordable burgundy with a lovely floral taste with some oak. Good one for those that dont like too much oak.

Good, but not outstanding

We had this with roast chicken - from Waitrose - for Xmas lunch. The Vire-Clesse complemented the meal well. However, even allowing for the high price of Burgundy, we thought this wine was perfectly acceptable but not very distinctive, and not especially good value for the outlay.

Very nice!

Very clean, crisp Chardonnay with a touch of oak. Floral notes on the nose - primarily jasmine, honeysuckle and stone fruits. Peach and some citrus fruit on the palate. Not over oaked. Nothing not to like here. Very good quality for the money. Really impressive! Worth buying if youre looking for a good quality white burgundy but dont want to pay top dollar.
