Product Information

AOP gaillac
Len de l'el (as in Len-de-lel) is a grape variety which is native to the tarn region and is found nowhere else in the world, producing a dry wine with vibrant freshness on the palate and a long, bold, and indulgent finish.

Style - Fruity, floral, elegant, smooth
Taste - Pear, quince, white blossom
Food - Seafood, salads, fruit tarts

The Occitan name Len de L'El, or "Loin de l'Oeil" translates as "far from the eye" referring to the grapes on long stems far from the bud or "eye". A fascinating and rare grape variety primarily found in the southwestern part of France, in the Gaillac wine region. An elegant and floral white wine with ripe pear, quince, almond and hazelnut, and blossoming white flowers. Pairs well with local dishes such as grilled sardines, garlic prawns, summer salads and fresh melon.

Please drink responsibly: The UK Chief Medical Officers recommend adults do not regularly drink more than 14 units per week
