Poor storage at source?
Last few pots that have been delivered have contained what I can only describe as "slimy eggs". All were within the 'best before' date, nor did they taste 'off', but it really wasn't pleasant to see two "sweaty" eggs in the pot. Spinach leaves were fine (ie the sliminess of the eggs wasn't down to spinach leaves wilting). Shan't be buying again. I'll get mine from Waitrose.
Tasteless egg.
I always buy these sort of egg pots from two different high street supermarkets. I saw this one on Ocado so I chucked it in the cart. I was shocked at how absolutely tasteless the egg turned out to be! I'll go back to buying my egg pots from elsewhere.
Decent eggs. Soggy spinach
The eggs are hard boiled and seem to be of decent quality with nice orangey yolks. The spinach is usually wet and a little sad but I chuck into my smoothie and its fine. Then nothing goes to waste.
Inconsistent
Last week’s purchase was great, and the eggs and spinach were tasty and fresh. This week’s smelled of dirty fishpond water and were not fit for consumption. Perhaps it was just a bad batch but I won’t risk buying again.
bad value
You are paying for two boiled eggs and three leaves of spinach which are mostly stalk. Would not buy again.
Great
I used it for a picnic, the eggs were tasty and there was lots of fresh spinach.
