Needs cooking
Preheat oven.
Remove sleeve. Pierce film.
Place on preheated baking tray.
After 15 mins, remove film and cook for remaining time.
Stir after cooking.
Do not reheat.

nice but extremely salty
i did eat a few times as the meat was nice, but honestly it is very salty
Meat
There was little meat and it was very grisly. Not up to usual m and s standard
Wheres the meat?
The sauce was tasty, but thats all it was. The whole dish contained three small cubes of beef, I expected more from an M&S meal.
Awful
I literally put a spoon in to see if it was hot enough. My mouth was on fire! No taste gloopy wouldn't feed it to the dog. Good job it had onions and mushrooms in it otherwise I might have!
At least the mushrooms were tasty
Unlike some M&S meals where you can hardly find the advertised mushrooms, this one had tasty whole ones. However that's about all it has going for it. The meat was tough & stringly, and there were way too many big chunks of onion. Bought as part of a meal deal--the mash and ice cream somewhat made up for the main.
coeliacs beware: contains wheat
My other half is diagnosed as coeliac, and we normally check ingredients closely. Luckily we spotted that - unlike its slow cooked beef bourg - this one contains wheat flour. Unnecessarily as a thickener presumably, when cornflour or similar would happily do. M&S is normally good these days for taking pointless wheat and gluten out of its products, but a fail here.
