I dont dislike this Kiev but its costly for what it is. Needs more garlic butter and more punch.
Great
Nice crispy coating, chicken was not dry, garlic sauce was lovely and oozed out. Not a huge fan of eating around the bone, just personal preference. Tasted great though.
Garlic butter?
Agree with other reviews Last time I had this was in the 1970's Hardly any garlic butter,so basically slightly tough, dry chicken Garlic butter should flood the plate Let's face it garlic and butter a lot cheaper than chicken!!? On my budget as a pensioner this was meant to be as trreat.I Waste of money!
Poor
Very expensive, expected something special. Not sure where the garlic butter was, didn’t even taste of garlic and was dry. Extremely disappointed won’t buy again ☹️
Good
Good Kiev but could do with more garlic butter.
Where was the garlic butter?
Chicken Kiev (renamed Kyiv to bring it up to date) should have so much butter and garlic in it that when you cut it open, it floods the plate. This flat thing sat miserably on my plate. I punctured it. Nothing. Moved up a bit. Still nothing. Eventually, I found a rather sad amount of herbs (almost completely lacking in any kind of garlic) with a tiny bit of butter hiding around where the breast was attached to the bone. I have had cheapo frozen ones that were more spectacular.
