Pretty good

Although rather expensive this moussaka tasted much better than most shop-bought ones. Mine had plenty of aubergine, not too much potato (often used to pad out the dish), and a decent amount of bechemal sauce. Two reasonable portions.

Delicious and Satisfying!

I bought this in a flash sale, so it's just over half price. I am so pleased that I bought it because, for me, the balance of flavours and the amount of bechamel sauce was just right. I was well aware of the herbs and seasoning, the tomatoes, the lamb, the cheese, etc. My only minor criticisms would be that I would have drained some of the fat and I would like it to be a little cheaper. Well, I am from Yorkshire. I seldom use salt and didn't find this too salty. I also have a tendency to add cracked black pepper and even cheese, yet I didn't have to add anything. Delicious! My compliments to the chef! I've not bought ready-made Moussaka in years due to the taste, with too much cinnamon, oregano and bechamel sauce, making it sickly.

Bland

Bought this in a Flash Sale, it was bland and the sauce was just a congealed lump. Very disappointed and won't buy again even if it is Reduced in price

It was just okay....

I bought this on a flash sale and wouldn't buy it again even on a flash sale. The bechamel sauce was too thin and it was too salty overall.

Delicious

One of the best moussakas I have ever had. Lovely balance of ingredients. There are many variations of moussaka even in Greece, but this really suits my taste. I would be delighted if I were served this in a high quality Greek restaurant
