shrink a lot!
Lovely school pinafore but they shrink badly when washed at 40 (as per the care label). The latest one I bought shrank 2cm on its first wash!

Great quality, lovely shade of grey, look so beautiful compared to usual tunics, in my opinion. Due to the comments about shrinking, I compared a washed one (washed at 40) to a new unwashed one. Shrinkage was minimal e.g max 1cm. As it has natural fibres, can also be tugged slightly after the wash to compensate for the slight shrinkage, of necessary. Months on there has been no more shrinkage. I don't put in the tumble dryer, no need - on offer 3 for 2 so works out to get 3 so no rush with laundering for the next day. Hang to dry on a hanger.

Favourite dress
Really difficult to find school dresses not made of man made fibres entirely. So soft and my daughter loves it. Only thing is it does shrink so I bought size 6-7 for my 4yo.
Will shrink
I was so pleased with these dresses at first. They are soft and comfortable. But after only a few months they have shrunk so much they are unwearable now. Disappointing as I usually get jersey pinafores from another supermarket and they have never shrunk.
Please stock the BLACK version!
Ive ordered these directly from M&S. With high cotton count it is the best quality uniform you can get! It looks very cute and fits well. I need bigger size now but unfortunately Ocado only stocks grey. Please bring the BLACK COLOUR in stock!
