Best stored in a fridge.

1. Wash before use.
2. Trim the stalk and remove any tough leaves at the base.
3. Place in a pan of boiling water, with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and cook for 15-30 minutes until cooked through and tender (a good test is if the leaves pull off easily).
4. Drain (turning the globes upside down helps remove excess water) and serve with melted butter.
5. Alternatively for just the heart, remove all the outer leaves, cut off the top to reveal the choke, scoop out and cut as desired.
To prevent discolouring place in lemon water before simply frying in butter.
