quality not the same
The quality is not the same as previously. There was not much meat it was mainly bones and cartilage. I actually was given this chicken as a substitute but I will make sure not to get it again.
quality seems to have gone down
Not great and most of it went to the dogs. Somehow managed to he both dry and greasy
Brown Sugar on skin and dry
Sweet chicken skin unpleasant and so dry as to make me think I was eating half a large sugar coated gardening shoe. Such a shame that all the cooked chickens are now plastered with dextrose and/or sugar.
Not for the faint hearted
We had this cold with chips and salad, between two adults. Although no stranger to a roast chicken, I found it hard work – and a bit off-putting — to portion it out due to all the bone, skin and cartilage. A loose bit rattling around in the packet eventually revealed itself (after some close inspection) to be a roasted chicken foot. We got two decent portions off the breast, but by that time I’d lost my appetite and found it hard to enjoy my meal. Would not buy again.
Moist and tasty
I bought these after reading the good reviews. So pleased I did as we thoroughly enjoyed them. Plenty of juicy tender meat.
Hit and miss
We've been having this for a while and always thought it was lovely tasty moist meat however last couple of packs have been almost overcooked and very dry. Ashame.
