Made in Yorkshire using traditional methods. Ready-rolled for light, flaky layers with a rich & buttery flavour. Small black spots may be present within the pastry. These are pieces of bran, which are naturally occurring within the flour. These will not have any adverse effect on the quality of the product and will disappear during the cooking process.

Cooking guidelines
Oven cook - From Chilled. Electric 200°C, Fan 180°C, Gas 6, 10-12 mins

- Preheat oven
- Remove from fridge, remove all packaging and use straight away. If required, dust with extra flour
- Unroll pastry and leave on baking paper provided, cut out as required
- Place on baking tray in centre of oven for 10-12 mins or as stated in your recipe
- Cook until golden brown
Do not reheat.

Apple Frangipane Tart.
All butter puff pastry
75g Ground almonds
75g Golden caster sugar
75g Butter - at room temperature
1 Medium egg
1 Orange
4 Large apples
Crème fraîche to serve
Oven Electric 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas mark 6
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas Mark 6 and line a large baking tray with greaseproof paper.
2. In a bowl, mix the almonds, caster sugar and butter.
Add the egg and half the juice from the orange and whisk until well combined.
3. Peel, core and slice the apples into 1cm thick pieces.
4. Roll out the puff pastry sheet and cut evenly into 6 rectangles.
5. Place the pastry pieces on the baking tray and score a 1cm border around each one.
Using a fork, prick the base of the pastry inside the borders.
6. Spread the frangipane mix inside each of the borders, so it's around 0.5cm thick.
Then gently place the apples on top, being careful not to push down too hard.
7. Bake in the oven for 25 mins until the pastry edges are golden.
8. Finish with a dollop of crème fraîche and orange zest.
