In a separate container, mix the compost tablet in 300 ml of water to rehydrate. Once rehydrated, fill the house with 1/3 of the compost.


Place the bulbs with the pointed end up and cover with the remaining compost, to just underneath the rim.


IMPORTANT:
Place the house in a cool, dark and ventilated place 5-10°C, (as cold as a fridge or garden shed) for a minimum of 10 weeks to stimulate root and flower development. If this step is missed, the bulbs may not flower. Make a note on your calendar, when to take the house out of the cold. Check the compost at least once a week and water as required.


After the 10 weeks, place in a warm 20-25°C, bright position indoors. Make sure to keep compost moist at all times.


Your Muscari will be in full bloom in about 10-14 days after following the above instructions.
