Shopping List: Hunter's Chicken
- 400g Fries
- 4 Skinless chicken breasts
- 8 Rashers of streaky bacon
- 150g Cheddar cheese, grated
- Sour cream and spring onions to garnish (optional)
Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to Electric 220°C, Fan 200°C, Gas 7.
1. Cook the fries according to packet instructions.
2. Wrap each chicken breast with 2 rashers of streaky bacon and place on a lightly oiled baking tray. Cook for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked through and the juices run clear.
3. Drizzle the sauce evenly across the top of the chicken breasts and sprinkle with the cheese.
4. Cook for a further 3 minutes, until the cheese is melted and serve with the fries. Garnish with the sour cream and spring onions, if desired. Delicious served with coleslaw and corn on the cob.
Why not try... replacing the chicken with sausage and crispy bacon bits or making it vegetarian using parboiled cauliflower.
