Winemaker Leon Esterhuizen of Journey's End selects chardonnay from sustainably farmed grapes grown in prime cool coastal vineyards. Ageing the wine for 6 months in French oak, he brings a subtle complexity to this rich but refreshing wine.
Subtle aromas of toasted almonds and moreish flavours of peach, fresh apple and vanilla.
A versatile wine, pairing with white meats and seafoods. Try with creamy dishes like chicken pie and pine nut linguine.
