London porter beer
A sweetish, caramel-flavoured beer with afternotes of smoky maltiness. The London Porter is brewed in Greenwich, using no fewer than seven malts to recreate a historic recipe from the mid-1700s. Serve chilled with meats or cheese. Suitable for vegans.

I buy this for bloke. He absolutely loves it & says its rich & tasty. Vegan too. Highly recommended.

Was fantastic prior to recipe change

This was one of my favourite standard ABV beers for some years. Unfortunately , like and increasing number of people, I have a wheat intolerance and they recently change the recipe to include wheat malt (presumably because wheat is a cheaper crop than barley). Unfortunately after many enjoyable years I can no longer drink this which feels like a sad loss.

gets better

Found this a little weak to start with, but the flavour grew the more you drank, in to a nice mellow tasty Porter
