Keep your orchid away from fruit bowls- fruit emits ethylene and will shorten their life. Keep it away from heat sources and Draughts. Never let your orchids sit in water for a long time. Please prune the spent flowers. If your orchid seems to be unhappy no matter what you do, it might like to live in a different room.

Position: Natural light on a north, east or west-facing windowsill is best, out of direct sunlight.

Watering: Keep your orchid moist by adding two ice cubes to the pot each week. To keep leaves lustrous, give them a light misting from time to time.

Flowering: When your orchid has finished flowering, prune the stem above the lowest node. It helps it to bloom again.

Take care to protect your surfaces so it doesn't cause scratching or staining. Never place glass containers in direct sunlight or hold them by the rim. Always wash your hands after handling plants.
