Memories of years gone by.
I so remember these from my childhood and have rediscovered them recently. I love these on long car journeys as they last for ever if sucked not chewed. Nice subtle taste of mint.
Lovely
Really enjoyed these, just as we remember them.
Lovely humbugs
These are just like the humbugs I had on car journeys sitting in the back of my Nan and Grandads car. Lovely, minty taste with the lovely chewy centre. A regular purchase now.
Excellent humbugs
All the boxes ticked: smooth, cool and minty, a nice soft crunch and lovely chewy, buttery toffee finish. Im an immediate cruncher by nature but I try to savour each stage of these.
Excellent old timer!
Another example of M&S getting it right. These have been around for over 50 years! I know because I used to by them with my parents with the local shop and I am over 50! Not intended to be a 'butter' mint. These are a straightforward mint humbug. Decent mint flavour, with shell melting into a tasty toffee. Will not break your teeth or stick to your dentures! Excellent value. Highly recommended. If you want a 'butter mint' try M&S Butter Mintoes which are better than the leading brand.
Underwhelming
I love humbugs but found these pretty underwhelming and not buttery enough. The centre wasnt particularly nice either. Struggling to finish the bag so wont buy again.
