Chef's Tips: Perfect served simply with warm crusty bread and pomme frites or served with toasted granary bread topped with melted Gruyère cheese. This product does not contain live mussels. Some shells may be open when product is removed from the bag, prior to reheating. Discard any mussels that do not open after cooking. No salt is added when preparing these mussels, the salt level is natural and may vary. Our mussels are rope grown in the clear waters around the West Coast of Scotland and Shetland Islands.

Boil in the Bag - From Chilled. Remove outer packaging and place unopened pouch or pouches in a saucepan of boiling water. Return to the boil and simmer gently for 7 mins (1 pouch) or 8 mins (2 pouches). Gently shake the pouch or pouches before carefully cutting open with scissors.
Ensure food is piping hot before serving.; Cooking Instructions - General. Do not reheat.; Hob - From Chilled. 4-5 mins
Remove outer packaging and open pouch or pouches. Empty contents into a saucepan. Cover and simmer gently over a moderate heat for 4 mins (1 pouch) or 5 mins (2 pouches). Stir occasionally.; Microwave - From Chilled. Remove all packaging. Empty contents into a microwaveable dish and cover with film, pierce film.
To cook 1 pouch in the microwave:
750W 2 mins, 30 secs
900W 2 mins
To cook 2 pouches in the microwave:
750W 4 mins
900W 3 mins, 30 secs
Stirring halfway through.
