Preheat oven. Remove all packaging and place chicken in a roasting tin. Season with salt and pepper.
Refer to cook time on front of pack.
Check chicken during cooking and cover with foil if necessary to prevent excessive browning.
Check the product is thoroughly cooked and piping hot throughout before serving.
Leave to stand for 10 mins before carving.
This product is raw and must be cooked.
Serve with or without skin as required.
Do not reheat.

Chicken
Lovely sized bird, bought for hubby & son (I'm vegetarian), for their cooked dinner. Cooked up well & there was plenty of meat for them & even a third person if needed, the cats that visit even got some too!
Just OK
Nicely presented but nothing to distinguish it from everyday chicken. Only worth buying if the higher welfare aspect is meaningful to you.
Tough as old boots
I accepted this as a substitution for a different chicken which was larger and cheaper, but it was awful. Cooked exactly as instructed but it was dry and as tough as old boots. Well over £8 for the privilege - it wasn't too long ago that the large version of this chicken was £5!
Succulent Staple
Just tried this chicken, and it's honestly the best I've had in ages. Cooks up perfectly, really juicy and full of flavor. Doesn't have that water-filled taste you get with some others. Definitely a regular on my shopping list from now on.
Tastes like any average indoor reared chicken
I normally buy free range chickens, with great flavour. I was misleaded thinking this was free range by the welfare claims, just to find out that it is not. So I paid a high price for a chicken reared indoors that has little to no flavour of chicken. I feel scammed. It's shameful that this is the best chicken M&S has to offer to its customers.
