Sunflower oil
Great raisins, except for the Sunflower Oil. Interesting review below having a go at people criticising on the sunflower oil. Just the smallest amount of research and you discover S.O. is not good for you - we've been sold yet another pup for years. Wakey wakey. Back to the raisins - M&S please find another way to stop these sticking together, and I'll consider buying again.
Get over the Sunflower oil
First of all the sunflower oil is organic. And please!! Get over it. There is nothing terrible about a sunflower. The seeds are removed and pressed into oil. If it wasnt there the raisins would stick together and you would complain about that too. To the reviewer who referred to it as poison. Dont be stupid. It is a sunflower. Sunflower seeds are in alot of muesli and healthy bread. These are just perfect for baking because they dont stick together.
Why the sunflower oil?
No need to add a nasty oil like this to raisins
Poison please
Sunflower oil AGAIN.
Tasty
These are nice and moist. Ideal in oat porridge. The slight concern with M&S is that it says its organic produce is grown using fewer pesticides. I am not sure if this reflects the approach to organic farming as a whole. In my understanding, organic means no pesticides are used at all...not fewer.
Coated in Sunflower Oil
I didn't check the label because I didn't expect them to be covered in seed oil.
