This is lovely fruit but it is really far too expensive
Lovely pineapple, I enjoy having it for breakfast along with other fruits and greek yogurt
Having bought this for the past 3 years or so it was always by far the best on the market. However it appears in a drive to save costs M&S have changed supplier. You can tell as the pineapple is no longer as sweet or ripe often almost impossible to cut. Additionally the size of the chunks has increased which leads me to Suspect a new supplier. Now probably the worst of all the supermarkets equivalents.
Im not sure why theres variation, but I bought these after enjoying the bigger pack of M&S pineapple but it wasnt a patch on it. Juicy yes, however it had more of a sharp taste to it and was lacking sweetness.
I used to order both the pineapple chunks and mango chunks every week but over the last month or so theyre either underripe or poor quality. Pretty sure theyve changed supplier.
