Cooking guidelines
Oven cook - From Frozen. Handling Raw Meat Safely: this product contains raw meat and must be cooked according to the cooking instructions.
Electric 180°C, Fan 160°C, Gas 4, 2 hours
Needs cooking. Preheat oven to Fan 160°C.
Remove sleeve, film lid and butter. Place butter to one side. Cover with foil and place product directly on shelf in the centre of the oven. Cook for 1 hour. Remove foil, baste and return to oven and cook for a further 1 hour.
Add the butter for the last 10 mins of the cook.
Allow to stand for 2 mins. Remove strings and carve into 5mm slices and spoon the butter and juices over the meat. Always check that the product is cooked throughout, and juices run clear with no pink colour remaining.
Do not reheat.
