Great for soup.
Use these to bulk out my veg soup. Help to thicken it and taste great. Decent quality for price.
Perfect for soups and stews.
I like these and use them in my home made soups and stews, they have a sweet, nutty flavour. I prefer to soak them overnight in order to cook then quickly but there is probably no need to do so with red lentils.

Made Tom kerridges lentil and pancetta soup. They cooked really well after 20 mins in the soup, nice texture and good source of protein
Don\x27t follow the instructions on the packet!
The instructions say "boil for 25mins until they still have bite". After only 10 mins they were complete mush and useless for the lasagne I was making.
